Web1 sep. 2024 · IBM IFS, how to secure a IFS folder in AS400. I have a lot of folders in our IFS and apparently they are wide open to users. I have created new folders and setup the shares and changed the permissions to be Exclude for public and open for the MIS group. Problem is everyone still has permission. On the AS/400, a folder is not the same as a directory (well, a folder is a special kind of directory; most directories are not folders). If possible, more information would help greatly.
